Acupuncture (Chinese & Japanese)
Acupuncture can correct imbalances in the body that create disease. It involves the insertion of extremely thin and painless needles into designated acupuncture points. The needles are sterile and disposable. Acupuncture has the ability to address several systems of the body and the treatments are tailored based off of the patient’s condition.
Cupping is a manual therapy that uses glass cups that suction where they are applied. Cupping is wonderful for pain, reducing inflammation, speeding up recovery in injuries, and is also used to speed up recovery when you are sick.
Herbal Medicine & Nutraceuticals
Chinese herbal prescriptions may be part of your health regimen to address a wide array of syndromes whether it be cold and flu symptoms, digestive issues, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, skin issues or pain/injury, or headaches. All of the herbs used are from the Materia Medica of Chinese herbal medicine, and have been used safely for thousands of years. Chinese herbal formulas should only be taken under the care and guidance of a board certified clinical herbalist.
E-stim, is electrical stimulation to acupuncture points. E-stim is used for pain and sometimes stroke recovery. Just like acupuncture, it is painless and yields relief.
Heat therapy may be used in some situations with either moxibustion or far-infrared TDP lamp. Both forms of heat therapy are shown to have a deeper penetrating heat that promotes the healing process. Often it is used for painful conditions or to tonify people with weaker constitutions or cold conditions.

These exercises are possible for all body types and all ages. They are gentle, yet effective.
